The 970 startup software is a Visual
Basic program for use on Windows™ based PCs. It
is intended to provide a quick interface to the Model 970 Intelligent
Pressure Standard to verify basic operation or to perform unit
configuration. The program allows communication with a single 970 through a
PC COM port with the baud rate and 970 node address specified by the user.
Once connected, the software can be used to request single or continuous
readings of the Model 970 pressure or temperature reading (in EU format
only). A raw command dialog box is also provided to allow users to send any
valid 970 command to the unit and have the resulting reply displayed.
