KPSI™ Level & Pressure Transducers: Submersible Pressure Transducers from PSI Now Feature Low Pressure Range |
| ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– |
Hampton, VA, December 1998 -- The KPSI 700 Series of submersible pressure transducers from Pressure Systems, Inc. (PSI) is now available with pressure down to ranges of 5 feet of water column full scale. The transducers are ideal for the hostile environments encountered in liquid level measurement and control, such as sump level, surface water monitoring cooling towers, evaporation pans and wier level.
The transducers are housed in a small rugged package and constructed with all-welded corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel. PSI also offers the product line in alternate materials of construction to accommodate extremely corrosive media. The Series 700 transducers are 100% computer-tested, calibrated and serialized. The transducers feature a unique cable seal system, are fully temperature compensated and are datalogger compatible. A state-of-the-art, surface mount internal signal conditioning provides a power supply rejection of 0.0001% and either a 4-20 mAdc, 0-5 Vdc, or mVdc process signal. Each transducer is shipped with a barrier that prevents moisture from entering the cable vent tube and a traceable calibration card that specifies input/output conditions and actual data recorded during manufacture. Optional calibration is available when additional performance characteristics are required. All units are repairable and have low power requirements. |
