Introduction of System 9000 product family designed for multiple pressure measurement industrial test applications using as few as eight sensors.

1992

Began research and development program of Quartz Transducer, a tertiary measurement standard used in calibration of the Company's pressure measurement systems.

1991

PSI presented President's "E" Award, which gives special recognition to companies that have excelled in export sales.

1988

PSI named Virginia's Exporter of the Year by the United States Department of Commerce

1987

Formally introduced System 8400 which had the ability to compile and transmit to a host computer up to 50,000 readings per second which were taken by multiple pressure scanners.

1986

Formed Keller-PSI (KPSI), a joint subsidiary of Pressure Systems, Inc. and Keller AG (Winterthur, Switzerland) to manufacture pressure transducers used for a variety of all-media pressure measurement applications.

1978

PSI began formal operation. Doug Juanarena obtained license to manufacture NASA's technology and introduced the 780B pressure measurement system.

1977

Pressure Systems was incorporated by Doug Juanarena to introduce a technology developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Doug Juanarena was a member of the team at NASA-Langley which developed a unique sensing system for electronically communicating and measuring windtunnel model pressures.
